HBO didnt make Rome alone it was HBO money BBC skill if u buy the dvds in the uk bbc has top billing but i think this happens alot in US

Although this show does a good job of capturing the era, this show is not historically accurate. it does have some truth to it, but the story has been altered to better suit a t.v. audience... That being said, its a great show!
